Privacy Policy

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and organization details via our authentication provider, Supabase. When you upload a meeting recording, we process the audio and video content to generate transcripts, extracted screenshots, and structured documents.

Recordings you upload are transcribed and analyzed solely to generate the documents you request. We don't use your recordings or generated documents to train AI models, and we don't sell your data to third parties.

Processing your data requires sharing it with a small number of service providers, each under their own data processing terms:

• Supabase — authentication, account management, and database storage, with row-level security isolating each organization's data
• AssemblyAI — speech transcription
• Anthropic — extracting decisions, action items, and structured content from transcripts and screenshots
• Razorpay — payment processing for paid plans
• Resend — transactional email (job notifications, account emails)
• Recall.ai — joining and recording live meetings when you use the live-meeting-bot feature

Uploaded videos, extracted screenshots, and generated documents are retained for as long as your account is active, so you can come back and review a call, watch it alongside its transcript, or re-download the document later. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to your organization's data is scoped and enforced at the database level, so other organizations on Briefant cannot access it. See our Security page for more detail.
